Lorena Pace Pruitt papers, 1914-1982.

The collection consists of miscellaneous papers relating to Lorena Pace Pruitt, the first woman mayor in Georgia. Mrs. Pruitt was an alumnus of the State Normal School, served on the Smyrna city council in 1944, and was mayor from 1945 until 1948. The papers include a Normal School Bulletin for 1914-1915, 11 photographs and various clippings.
